Summits and IFB Events
IFB holds Educational Summits yearly in-person in various cities including Toronto and Calgary, as well as regional CE events in other locations such as Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Saskatoon. These one and two day events allow members and other financial professionals to earn CE credits at high quality, low cost events, while also providing valuable networking opportunities. Courses leading to the Certified Financial Planner® designation
IFB Members can enjoy a 10% discount on FP Canada education bundles, leading to the CFP® and QAFP® designations.

Effective September 28, 2024, the CIFP Core Curriculum and Advanced Curriculum Program for QAFP certification and CFP certification will no longer fulfil the technical education requirements on the path to QAFP certification and CFP certification.
For those that are currently pursuing courses leading to the CFP(r) designation through CIFP, or who have completed some but not all of these courses, please refer to the FP Canada website for information on how to complete or continue your CFP education.
IFB Members save 25% on CIFP Registered Retirement Consultant Program
The CIFP Registered Retirement Consultant Program will equip advisors with the comprehensive knowledge they need to discuss retirement concepts and strategies with their clients. Upon completion of this course, the advisor will earn the license to use the prestigious Registered Retirement Consultant® (RRC®) title.
Knowledge Bureau Personal Pension Plan Course
IFB members can save $100 on the Personal Pension Plan course offered through the Knowledge Bureau.
IFB Members have access to discounts on the Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designation program, now only $1,295 after a $200 discount. That’s a savings of over 10% off the regular cost of enrollment!
